Qualified Care Staff

Being a highly professional organisation, we believe in hiring the best. All Nightingales care workers are highly qualified care staff. They also undergo continuous training to upgrade their skills and to incorporate new methodologies in their approach towards care. Having qualified care staff on board helps us to ensure a consistent standard of care over time.


Apart from being professionally qualified care staff, our care workers are known for being sensitive, empathetic and friendly people who do not treat care as a commodity. For us, “care” is all about caring for people’s lives in a humane, dignified and respectful manner.


We are a member of the United Kingdom Homecare Association Ltd which is a professional body promoting high standards in home care. All our staff members have NVQ level 2 or 3, or are working towards them and we ensure that they meet the requirements set out by the Warrington County Council.


We have a system wherein we pool our knowledge and best practice techniques learnt through the Continuing Professional Development courses and personal experiences. We make this information pool available to all our qualified care staff so that as many people as possible can benefit from the data and new recruits can have a shorter learning curve. Also, knowledge sharing helps the team and organization to share a common vision about the standard of care to be achieved.


We are proud to say that one of our qualified care staff, Janet Scarisbrick, who works as a care coordinator, has been named as a finalist in the Great North West Care Awards 2011.She is a senior team member who has been selected as one of the five finalists in The Home Coordinator Award category.


Alison Emery Managing Director and Neil Fitzpatrick, the business development and operations manager have both completed a certificate course in Dementia Awareness and have shared their learning with our other qualified care workers.


With a team of 60 qualified care staff, we can provide you seamless service without compromising on the quality or standard of care. The main carer allocated to you does most of the visits and in case of any unforeseen exigeancies, we have trained back up staff available to take over or lend a hand.
